OAO Novosibirskenergo was ranked 134th in the nationwide rating of the largest Russian companies, which was published in the Dengi (“The Money”) weekly economic magazine.
The rating was based on a company's market capitalization (equity value, which is obtained by multiplying the number of shares by their market price) as of June 30, 2008.
A total of 300 largest companies of Russia were included in the rating. At first, the experts considered the indices of nearly 1000 issuers, which then formed a summary list of companies with the highest market value of equity.
As of June 30, 2008, the market value of OAO Novosibirskenergo amounted to USD 892.3 mln.
